CONSORTIUM MEETING & PROGRESS REVIEW MEETING OF FLEXGAN PROJECT IN TOULOUSE
A new consortium meeting and the first progress review of FLEXGAN project was hosted by AIRBUS, Toulouse, on the 20th and 21st June. The first day was mainly aimed at carrying out a critical review of the project progress, as well as planning and coordinating the work to be done in the next months. On second day, the review meeting with European commission took place. During the meeting, main project results and achievements carried out during the first 7 months of the project were presented. Reviewer and project officer were satisfied with the work done and provided useful feedback for the progress of the project. It was a productive and successful meeting.
FLEXGAN first progress review meeting
First FLEXGAN review meeting with European Commission will take place in Toulouse (Airbus premises) on 21 June 2019. The meeting is mainly aimed at reviewing the requirements and baseline architecture identified and defined for the FLEXGAN SSPA.
FLEXGAN kick-off meeting
The FLEXGAN kick-off meeting will take place in Santander, 6th November 2018, hosted by TTI. This meeting will mark the beginning of project activities and it will also serves to discuss and establish the work plan, the structure of the project organisation, the information flow within the project and also to promote the co-operation among project partners.
FLEXGAN consortium meeting in Rome
On April 9th 2019, a new face-to-face meeting of FLEXGAN project was held in Rome hosted by University of Rome Tor Vergata. The objective of this meeting was to review the status of technical activities and upcoming deliverables, as well as to define, coordinate and prepare the work to be carried out in the next months of the project.
FLEXGAN project START-UP
FLEXGAN project begins on 1st November 2018 and has a duration of 36 months. During this period of time, FLEXGAN consortium is going to move forward to achieve the project objectives, developing a Ka-band GaN-based SSPA for flexible payloads and multicarrier operation for 5G very High Throughput Satellite (vHTS) concept.
